Drive_carcar Clutched June 30, 2008 Share June 30, 2008 Interesting... What is a clutch interlock? I suppose it is something that only exist in MTs?
Heelntoe 1st Gear June 20, 2009 Share June 20, 2009 look at the clutch pedal in the foot well, there should be a switch that toggles when the clutch pedal is depressed, something like a brake light switch. u need to find out the state of the switch when the clutch is depressed. Most likely the contacts will be closed when the pedal is depressed, completing the circuit to supply power to the starter, but do check and cfm this on your car first. If above is true, then all u need to do is to disconnect the connector to the clutch switch and join the wires together. Get a mechanic to do all this if u're not sure

Fcw75 Hypersonic June 20, 2009 Author Share June 20, 2009 It's actually not a new feature. My car is a 2001 Sunny VIP. If DIY, I think using a cable tie is a good idea. Else probably have to go audio shop. ↡ Advertisement
