1. I don't mind trying it out if there is a specialist based in SG who can convinced me and is able to do the job professionally. No matter how simple it may seems, for a non-DIY folk like me, it is still an uphill task.

 

2. This is still better than the CNG, which takes up space and still subject to the mercy of Govt and Station Cartel.

But if you converted, does your car still comply to existing regulations? Later go Vicom also troublesome.

I think the best solution for now is to do carpooling or any other means to earn that extra cash to hedge against the petrol price hike.

 

On the average now, i have really cut down my monthly petrol bill by 50% by doing carpooling every morning (only). But of course not everyone can do it especially for those who have families who need to fetch wife and kids etc.

Just remove it before the inspection if need be. I'm not doing it to save fuel cost. Just want to prove that this is a better alternative than CNG if feasible.
