Would you know how much tax will I pay ,if I exceed the alcohol limit at the airport upon arrivial?

 

Eg how much tax do I pay if I have 1 more litre of alcohol

The Customs duties for different type of alcohol varies so best to declare at the Red Channel of Customs or just proceed to the Customs Office for assistance.

Under the old system, it was a flat rate of $9.50 per litre. Now, it's $$70 per litre of alcohol. However, a bottle of wine with 13.5% alcohol will attract roughly the same tax as before. If you're buying a good boutique wine, it's worth all the while to declare.

3years back, it was about less than 20 for 2 bottle of red wine.. dunno how they calculate..
