All 3 are very good street tires...except R1R gotta be slightly more cautious on a rainy day. My frd using Hankook RS2 says the wear out rate seems to be slower than his previous R888...Nt sure if this comparision if fair anot. As for RE01R, i have driven the CTR , a pretty gd street tire for normal daily driving.

agree on the R1R. especially when they are to their 3-5mm mark.

standing water must be careful.

either avoid or slow down.

when brand new/fresh. they are however quite a joy to drive in the wet. very predictable.

the RE01R is getting phrased out for the new Bridgestone Flagship RE11. still a favour among many.

regarding the RS2, it's a street tyre. it should wear slower than the R888 (semi slick.)

known as the "cheap" decent performer. but it's pricing lately is not giving it the $ edge.

expect to pay $2xx range for a decent 215/45R17 set of tyre each.

semi slicks are not recommended for everyday driving unless you know what you are getting yourself into.

RE001 is the Adrenalin line.

If you are primarily going to use for street and the occassional track session, then R-S2 would be your better bet. R-S2 offers good grip in both dry & wet which is very impt as the weather is crazy these days with flash storms, not forgetting good wear rate.
