Roads to close for NDP rehearsal on Saturday

 

DUE to the National Day Parade rehearsal, the following roads will be closed to all traffic except authorised vehicles on Saturday from 8am to 11pm:

• Republic Boulevard, towards the direction of Raffles Avenue from the junction of Republic Avenue
• Raffles Avenue, between the junctions of Raffles Boulevard and Temasek Avenue
• The three extreme left lanes of Raffles Avenue, between Temasek Avenue and Nicoll Highway

 

Affected public bus services will be diverted accordingly.

 

Congestion is expected along Raffles Boulevard, Raffles Avenue, Republic Avenue, Bras Basah Road, Nicoll Highway and Esplanade Drive.

 

Motorists travelling to Empress Place are advised to use Parliament Place via North Bridge Road or Hill Street. Those travelling to the Suntec City and Marina Square areas are advised to use public transport.

good excuse for u to save the ANG PAO mar... tell the newly wed cannot access to the hotel due to road closure, ANG PAO will be hand delivered to them soon then never answer their call after that
