Hi, my passport is going to expire in 1 month's time can I still enter Malaysia?

No. Must have at least 6 months b4 expiry date.

Take some photo of yourself go ICA dunno which dept, explain yourself(company letter), can get one within a day or two.

 

Best is google for tel no call up and ask.

Apply online at https://www.psi.gov.sg/NASApp/tmf/TMFServle...rue&Reload=true. Use your digital camera to take your own picture and re-size accordingly.

If all goes well, you can get your passport within 3 working days. Very simple and you get to save $10 also by applying online.

If you need it quickly, best is to go there, take photo, pay extra $$ for the passport and get it on the spot. There is a special counter for those who are willing to pay extra for the fast service.

can. but the officer will tell u grandmother story, and ask u to go find their bigger boss.

 

they would allow u to go in, case by case basis. dun say u go in makan or jalan jalan pump petrol. tell them u visiting a relatives who is sick, and come back a few hrs later. they will then chop a cpecial chop indicating u can enter malaysia for let's say 14 days.

 

my frnd encountered this problem and went in "AT NO COST". hope u understand wad it means.

Ok i think 1mths time is a lil' too extreme and i was almost rejected into M'sia when my passport had 3 mths left of validity.

 

Currently i'm still allowed to go into M'sia while my current passport expires @ 28 October 2008. I just applied for a new passport through online and cost me $70 via credit card.

 

Question is; am i still allowed to exit the country with my existing passport while waiting for the new one to arrive?
