66.6% is a joke.

the 66.6% are those that GETS TO VOTE. If the whole island vote, i highly doubt that 66.6% will materialize. And why does the rest doesnt get to vote? We all know.. [lipsrsealed]

66% how many of these r civil servants ? heh....u minus them out...wat u get ?

We need V, V for Vendetta.

(where can i buy that mask?)

Sometimes they know nobody will act for whatever they wish to propose. Unless everybody just go against it and as such make the policy maker worry abt the backlash such as

everybody takes the mrt/bus w/o paying....once too many people do it...how to fine everybody.....

sigh

wat i meant is wat will the maker do if everyone do not pay the erp and just enter the gantry.

i cant imagine if 500 000 cars suddenly refuse to pay erp and ignore the fine...

r we going to have 500 000 motorists held up in court?

In the end, its back to square one like last time, only the rich can afford to pay and drive around the island anytime anywhere.

I believe they could fix this problem in no time, don't be dishearted. I hope they will use the money collected from the erp, to build us more tunnel like kpe so that traffic will be ease in the VERY NEAR FUTURE. They just need more time and money to make it happen. Do use the erp as much as possible, i know we are all looking forward to that day, where traffic will be like a stroll in the park.

If the gov keeps using $$$ to solve problem, creating a unbalance situation which always favour the rich and powerful. Then i think something is really wrong with the ruling gov. this will eventually leads to dissent sentiment among the average Singaporeans who are deprived of certain rights becos of $$$. But lucky we will always be able to exercise our rights come every GE. else next time, the gov imposed a charge for voting rights. if cannot afford to pay, then cannot vote! [:p] .just like those potential ppl who cannot stand as GE candidates cos they cannot afford to put down the 13K deposit! In future, maybe the richs can pay not to let their sons serve NS. crappy man!

LKY ever flirt with the idea that Rich ppl be given 2-3 vote while poor ppl only 1 vote. The richer you are, the more vote you'll get. Anyone remember this issue?

KPE ?! You jollywell give up this idea. If you are working in the Paya Lebar area or Ubi area, you take a look at the new KPE entrance... They are filled with pre-installed ERP gantries! 1 good example you wanna know. From the Paya Lebar Airport road, drive towards bendemeer. There is an entrance on the left side.
