Is this a bogus monk then, asks a STOMPer, who came across this sight.

YC Ngor told STOMP:

"Saw this monk queuing to place a bet at the Singapore Pools outlet.

"A policeman was walking past that shop and was caught in the shot.

"Did he stop to think if that monk is a fake (given the recent issues of fake monks and nuns in Geylang area)? Go figure."

I seldom visit STOMP but there are certainly lots of people with lots of free time

dont know how many of these stompers have cause people to have lost their jobs or no salary increase this year

it certainly reflects our one main characteristics - complain about anything and any how

it seems like we are always so jealous or envious about other people

really a sad state of affair

in fact monks do not go round asking for money one.. if u ever encouter one asking for alms, just offer to buy them a vegetarian meal or get them some dry vegetarian stuff... if they ask for money.. then just leave them alone.. they are just layman in disguise as monks... [mad]
