Deleted an SMS? Don't hope to retrieve it

I would say that the infrastructure to retain such sms will not be cheap. A proper backup system of 1TB worth of backup tapes for a small scale server farm will set you back about $200,000 just on backup hardware+software that can last you about 3-4 yrs, $1k a month on running costs and you've not even talk about bringing in trained staffs who can handle backup/restore jobs and also about $5k a year on hardware warranty and repair. And all these is to have a backup/restore history of one month.

 

 

how much are we paying per sms? SGD0.05?

 

 

 

In the end consumers will complain why send a short sms will be so expensive.
