Adrianli Hypersonic June 11, 2008 Author Share June 11, 2008 So far all the replies are the fault lies on the wish driver. But shouldnt the taxi driver practise defensive driving when he saw the wish at the side road. If really accident, I guess it will be 50-50 case. Then I can sell tis video footage to both of them and earn some $$$.
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear June 11, 2008 Share June 11, 2008 The Wish should have check clear before zooming out cos smaller roads should give way to main traffic

Sg8916 Neutral Newbie June 11, 2008 Share June 11, 2008 Hey bro, just some thoughts on your interesting input here for playing devil's advocate. How do you draw the line on defensive driving being executed then? If successfully done, means nothing happened? Else, means he's at 1/2 the fault if didn't execute this advanced driving skills? Luckily, this alert taxi-uncle managed to pull a quick one on this inconsiderate act. Otherwise, he'd have lost income-hours for someone else's negligence, if not worse. So when was defensive driving becoming a mandatory assessment in traffic accidents these days, anyway? The last time I checked (not too long ago), my insurance company measure fault squarely by where the damage was inflicted on my insured vehicle. No need so cheem wan, seriously. Remember, the IRAS lady could have executed "defensive driving" too, but she was found no criminal negligence. So, would you say you own 1/2 the fault if it was you instead of the taxi when it really crash? ↡ Advertisement
