Nothing surprising, insurance rates increased twice within the last one yr, at least to the new ones.

I think there is a few ppl in the forum offering insurance quotes, try going thru the merchant threads.

bro...may I know what's your current age ??

you can ask AIG to revised your renewal premium under 'above 30 yrs old' condition.

If am not wrong, AIG quoted to you with 'all age condition' that's why the premium was so high....if you above age 30, then likley they can reduce the premium by $50 to $60 plus...

But my recommandation is that, look for alternative !

i'm already 32. reduce only 50-60 plus even if the indicated driver's age is above 30?! way too expensive. think i'll definitely switch.

now, how to contact this guyver guy?

ya, i opted for the above 30 age policy ---means only more than 30 years old can drive my car.....means i can't let young valets park the car

but the good thing is AIG is the fastest when it comes to dealing with claims IMHO.

also is it true after the car is 3 years old, most insurance policies require u to repair at outside workshops and not at the authorized distributor's workshop ? [sweatdrop]

just buy 3rd party, fire and theft lah. Incentivize you to drive more defensively and safely too. Not to mention the 1k you save for the petrol increase.
