I need to clone a harddisk for a win3.11 system

any bro/sis can recommend or anyone had norton ghost 4.0

peng you... not friendly to ask this leh.. try google under slingbox + SCV.. their freq is unique. there's smthg u can find.

Actually no need any cloning software. If you're wanting to setup another HDD, just format the new HDD, and transfer the system (Do a "sys D:" assuming the new drive is D: drive). Then use file utility, like Norton commander (NC4), or PCtools to copy all the files over, from the root directory.

ok.. houston u hv a problem.

pre win95 = all in 5 1/4" floppies. they dun exist anymore.

 

but i hv a friendly super installer... one call 1/4deck winprobe. u r welcome to hv it.

Pre win 95 already got 3.5 disk but only 360kb or 720kb. Just 2 weeks ago, I threw away all my 5 1/4 disks. I am still having a working laptop with 20mb hdd [sweatdrop]

I am also looking for a 486 working laptop or pentium II and below

anyone one had it ? wanted to sell

must be working condition, battery at least can last 20 mins

This was what I did last time, if I remember correctly.

 

1. Install a secondary IDE formatted hard drive (eg. d:)

2. Boot from a startup diskette, with DOS 'xcopy' command in diskette

3. Use xcopy/e/h/c c:. d:
