Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic May 4, 2015 Share May 4, 2015 Dr M stir & stir again ..... Yahoo news: Dr M’s warning: Malays doomed if Umno loses KUALA LUMPUR, May 4 — The Malay community will lose all its protections if Umno falls in the next general election, according to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who said defeat was inevitable with Datuk Seri Najib Razak leading the party. Continuing to press for Najib’s resignation as prime minister, Dr Mahathir said his estimates indicate that Najib would steer Umno towards defeat in the next general election, stripping the Malays of the safeguards they have enjoyed since Independence. “I did my own calculation and the result was if he continues to lead Umno then the party will lose... and if we lose then I am afraid that will be the last of the Malays, the last time we see Malay interests and Islam protected,” he told a townhall meeting organised by Malay Unity for Islam Movement. Dr Mahathir, however, did not explain whom or what the Malays needed protection from nor did he specify what safeguards he was referring to. The former prime minister said while the Malays are urged to unite behind Umno, they cannot turn a blind eye and offer absolute loyalty to a leader perceived to be corrupt. Dr Mahathir said that rumours about Najib’s wealth are spreading fast and that the latter’s failure to convincingly refute them would leave Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) vulnerable. “We can see he has a very wealthy lifestyle. On top of that, we know that billions of ringgit have been lost. Because of that we can see those who used to support BN now vote against it. “What happened? We used to be supported by all the races. But not anymore,” he said. Dr Mahathir then went on to point out that Najib fared poorer than Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, whom he replaced after BN to lost its parliamentary supermajority for the first time since 1969 in Election 2008. “He did worse. When you change a leader you are supposed to perform better. But instead he did worse”. BN lost a seven more seats under Najib in Election 2013, but the Umno president maintained that he performed better as his party added nine more seats to become the dominant force in BN. Dr Mahathir has been pushing openly for Najib’s resignation, saying latter’s refusal to address allegations such as those surrounding 1 Malaysia Development Bhd and the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu put BN’s rule at risk. Jman888 Moderator May 6, 2015 Share May 6, 2015 kena shoot back Kita asks how Mahathir’s sons became billionaires FMT Reporters | May 2, 2015 SUNGAI PETANI: The People’s Welfare Party, Kita, has urged former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad to explain how his sons Mokhzani and Mirzan had become billionaires “overnight”. Party leader Zamil Ibrahim said Mokhzani had been named the ninth richest man in Malaysia by the Malaysian Business magazine in 2014. As a Kedahan, he said, he knew that Dr Mahathir’s father was merely a school headmaster, while Mahathir himself had operated a simple clinic in Alor Setar before becoming the top politician in the country. Malaysians were thus curious to know how Mokhzani and Mirzan became billionaires and among the richest Malaysians. “We humbly request Tun Dr Mahathir to clarify. Zamil described as a “world record” that sons of a former premier could own billions in past three years. “You can’t get this world record in any part of the world. Only Dr Mahathir can explain,” said Zamil. He also urged Dr Mahathir to publicly explain exactly how much government-owned 1Malaysia Development Berhad had lost in its ventures. He said there were discrepancies in the former premier’s own figures. Dr Mahathir had first said 1MDB had lost RM42 billion, but recently claimed it lost RM14 billion. “Which is which now? Which figure is the right one?,” he said. He accused Dr Mahathir of misinforming, confusing and misleading the public with different figures on 1MDB, and challenged Dr Mahathir to either submit all his evidence to relevant authorities such as the Auditor-General or just stop his “empty talk”. Dr Mahathir has mounted a campaign to oust Najib Razak as Umno president and prime minister, in the wake of published reports about the finances and questionable investments of 1MDB, of which Najib is adviser. He has also made pointed remarks about Najib’s wealth and the purported lavish lifestyle of his wife and family, following news reports about purchases of multi-million-ringgit property by his stepson. Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic April 12, 2017 Share April 12, 2017 Yahoo : Hadi: DAP is 'faeces' excreted by PAP MARANG: Pas president Abdul Hadi Awang has described its former partners DAP as 'faeces' excreted by Singapore's ruling People's Action Party (PAP). Addressing a crowd in Rusila, Terengganu yesterday, Hadi, touched on DAP's origins. "Previously, Singapore was part of Malaysia, PAP had branches in Malaysia. When Singapore broke off from Malaysia, PAP here transformed into DAP. "So, DAP is PAP's 'anak butir tahi'. I know I'm speaking coarsely here," he said at a ceramah held to commemorate the successful tabling of the Private Members Bill to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965, better known as RUU 355. Hadi's lashing out at DAP is widely speculated to have stemmed from the Opposition's attempt to prevent him from tabling the Bill in Parliament last week. Among others, the bill seeks to increase the punishments meted out by Syariah Courts in the country to a maximum of 30 years jail, RM100,000 fine, and 100 strokes of the rotan. Hadi also defended Pas' ties with Umno leaders, likening it to a bond between Malay Muslims. "Is that wrong? While we are working among Malay Muslims, the DAP had also been working with outside powers to discuss Malaysian politics. Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic March 22, 2019 Share March 22, 2019 This one human error .............. Malaysia Boleh .. Yahoo News : Subang runway crash: Pilot says was given clearance to land KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 — The pilot of a jet, which ran into a car on the tarmac of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport and seriously injured an airport worker, has claimed that he was cleared to land on Monday morning. In an interview with The Star, Capt Muhammad Fauwaz Zamzam, who had piloted the Bombardier Challenger 300, also said that no notice was issued for maintenance work during the incident, and that there were no lights on the tarmac besides the airport guiding lights and boundary markers. The Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad (MAHB) employee, 39-year-old Mohd Ruzaimi Iskandar Ahmad Razali, died on Tuesday after sustaining critical injuries when the descending Berjaya Air private jet crashed into the maintenance vehicle that he was driving on the tarmac at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport on Monday. “I did not see any other light on the tarmac, except for the airport guiding lights, as the plane approached the runway. If there has been work being carried out or any vehicle on the runway, normally there would be beacon lights,” Muhammad Fauzam reportedly said. He also claimed that the airport did not any Notice to Airman (Notam) to indicate that maintenance work was being carried out on the tarmac, and that he had radioed the control tower twice. “The first attempt was not responded and on my second call, the tower gave us the clearance to land,” he said. According to The Star, the private jet was on a chartered flight from Jaipur, India, with eight passengers onboard. The English daily also said that two air traffic controllers who were on duty that morning have since been suspended from work pending the investigation by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB). link : https://sg.yahoo.com...-004714191.html
Watwheels Supersonic March 22, 2019 Share March 22, 2019 Malaysian PM Mahathir in Pakistan for 3-day visit https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/asia/malaysian-pm-mahathir-in-pakistan-for-3-day-visit-11368390 ISLAMABAD: Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad arrived here on Thursday (Mar 21) for a three-day official visit to Pakistan. The aircraft carrying Mahathir touched down at the Pakistan Air Force Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi at about 7.50pm local time. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan himself welcomed Mahathir. Also present to welcome Mahathir were the country’s Planning, Development and Reform Minister Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiyar, Malaysian Deputy Foreign Minister Marzuki Yahya, Malaysian Foreign Ministry secretary-general Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob and Malaysian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ikram Mohammad Ibrahim. A highlight of the visit is Mahathir being conferred the Nishan-e-Pakistan or Order of Pakistan, the country’s highest civilian award, by Pakistan President Arif Alvi on Friday. The Malaysian leader will also attend the Pakistan Day 2019 parade at the Shakarparian parade ground in Islamabad on Saturday as the guest of honour. Mahathir will be accorded an official welcome by Khan at the Prime Minister’s House on Friday morning. After that, the two prime ministers will have a four-eyed meeting, which will be followed by a delegation meeting between Malaysia and Pakistan. Later, the two prime ministers will attend a roundtable meeting with the captains of industry of Malaysia and Pakistan at a hotel here. The two prime ministers will also witness the symbolic groundbreaking for a Proton manufacturing assembly plant in Sindh province. They will also witness the signing of memorandums of understanding and agreement between Malaysian and Pakistan companies. Mahathir’s visit is at the invitation of his counterpart Khan to attend the Pakistan Day celebration, which is observed on March 23 every year. This is Mahathir’s first visit to Pakistan since becoming Malaysia’s seventh prime minister last year. When he was prime minister for the first time, from 1981 to 2003, he visited Pakistan thrice, in 1984, 1997 and 2002. Source: Bernama/rw M'sia is building a Proton car assembly plant in Pakistan.
