QD Quick detailing without wash

Hello guys,

 

Owner of a black honda car here. It is pretty well known that black honda paint is very "soft". It can get swirls and scratches pretty easily.

 

Therefore i'm very reluctant to use QD without washing the car. Is it really safe to use QD without washing first? Pretty skeptical but open to your experience/opinion.

I own a FD and i often use QD to replace washes as my house here dun have any washing area, need to drive a distance in order to wash my car. It work very well for me esp duragloss QD 521. After use it, look brand new.

imho, its never safe enuf to just qd without a proper wash unless ur car is garaged all the time and cleaned daily. esp for your "soft" honda paint, it just makes things worse.

 

However, i also understand that for many pple out there, its simply not possible to wash every other days so i guess it all boils down to how clean, shiny or protected you want ur car to be. Cheers

Yeah agree, if car not frequently mainatain and the paint work is contaminated and rough, muz go and give it a good wash and clay, QD also no use.
