Anyone know.... just saw on the sign board at first say massive jam CTE towards SLE.... then later on en-route to Punggol, saw the sign say CTE road after AMK Ave 2 CLOSED!!!!.... exit at Ave 5.... what happen leh.... Mas Selamat running arond the expressway???? [laugh]

Last night news reported that a tree fell across CTE towards city. Non-passable to traffic exiting to AMK Ave 1, all traffic were directed to exit at Ave 3.

tree fallen... lucky when i was in cte, the tree cleared already, but left lane still closed and there was still a jam... dan after i passed the scene, the road were full of leaves and it was really full lor... [sweatdrop]

fallen tree.. lotsa TP guiding traffic and massive jam at AMK exit.. all the way from TPE (CTE).. opposite direction, have lotsa KPOs who slow down to see what is going on, hence, also jam.. smash.gif

plant tree here there everwhere but don't want or cannot maintain.... this is the outcome.... lucky no one got injured..... kao..... remmeber last year also 1 tree fell at the Braddell flyover towards TPY..... NB jam like nobody business... somemore during Peak hours when everyone is returning home..... [shakehead] ........ alwasy drive along AMK ave 1.... everytime rain or strong wind.... sure something fell from tree.... sooner or later, one of those tree gonna come down..... [knife]

These tree were probably transplanted from elsewhere and were not deep-rooted to the ground. In the event of a rain, they are likely to be the first to give way, causing great inconveniences.

if tree falls and injures someone, it's also act of god... Unimpressed Unimpressed

 

But these trees are not there originally. God didn't grow them there.

They are probably transplanted on the roads for better greeneries. It is more a human act.

oi... dun any how say hor..... its an honest mistake they plant the tree there hor....... mai later ppl's head get chop onto floor because they plant the tree hor....
