There was a story widely circulated on internet about bodies being found under the beds in 1st World Hotel (may be wrong about hotel). Apparently hotel paid them to keep this under wraps.

Urban legend or not jawdrop.gif your call cool.gif

Aiyoh, this type of story you also want to believe, my sister and her family been doing yearly driving trip up to Genting since 95', everytime stay at First World Hotel, where got such thing laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif

Such story most likely being spread by those "kiao kui" (Hardcore Gambler) because they always stay at First World as they have the cheapest room rate in Genting. Most of them will only use the room for a short rest/break in between Gambling session, sad to say, my bro-in-law is one of them even though he is only a small time Gambler sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif So more and more holiday goers can just book thru' the internet as First World is still the cheapest but best is to stay at the new Tower 2 as the room and carpet is newer, better for kids. thumbsup.gifthumbsup.gifPosted Image

I wonder how they put the body under the bed as most of the bed are Devan beds, there's no space under the bed... [sweatdrop]

The theme park both indoor & outdoor quite nice. A good mixture for both adults & kids.

I will be going up on the 8th June, and proceed to Ipoh, Penang. Then, follow by KL shopping spree until 13th June. Home sweet home at the evening.

Tried to book the hotel at genting (from the website), be it First World, Theme Park, Highlands, or Awana are all fully booked. No rooms available on 8th and 9th June. Called the genting sales office at Singapore, and manage to squeeze a room out at Awana....

Anyway, if any of the brothers intend to visit Penang, can consider the hotel at http://www.northam-hotel.com.my impressed by the rooms and views. Resonable price too. I booked through www.cuti.com.my, priced at RM220 per room per night, with breakfast included.

As for KL, might want to consider garden hotel, which is just next to midvalley. A 5 star hotel which only doing their soft launch at the moment, as some of their main facilities is not up yet. Stayed there during my previous business trip, 2 weeks ago. The room is nicely done up, very comfortable. You can book the hotel through http://www.gardenshtlres.com/. Priced starting at RM280 ~ RM290. Not including breakfast. Can get the breakfast with RM20 (Nice international buffet).

Yo, are you driving up with Sin Ming Ri Pao?

I am going too with Sin Ming Ri Pao, think a total of 300 various cars meeting up at Singapore Turf Club car park and flag off at 7 am to Genting Highland.
