A dyno tune in 67 minutes?

Sure, you could put up the horsepower numbers and beat a GTR, but I wonder what it does for engine longevity.

At the quoted HP the Civic is knocking out well over 200bhp/litre. That's impressive Japanese drag-spec stuff.

cool [cool]

but that's a drag race, i bet the civic can't do cornering and braking like the GTR at track not to mention the drive train and engine won't last long with that kind of boost, can piang anytime one [sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Wow. impressive video. But without much info. it is difficult to ascertain the winner.

For one, a stock JDM Godzilla comes with speed limiter - limits it to 180km/h.

So, a tuned Ek9 without speedlimiter runs a quarter mile (400m) drag race against Godzilla ... there is no way Godzilla could beat EK9 in that drag race.

That's why in the latest version of EVO mag, when they pit Godzilla against C06 Corvette (7.0L NA) ... the competition is about total time and distance covered in 0-100-0 mph. And Godzilla narrowly beats C06. The issue pit Godzilla in 3 competition,

1. drag race vs C06

2. road race (slightly wet) vs Audi R8

3. track race (dry) vs 911 GT3

Godzilla wins all 3.

Its a real interesting read.

180km/h is roughly about 112mph.
