I like white car.

But is it difficult to take care?

I see a lot white cars got black tear drop stain from the door knob, windscreen washer, emblem...etc...are these stains easy to remove?

Will leaving the rain water overnight without washing creates more stains?

Neutral Newbie

white is the most "nice to look at".

But most difficult to maintain.

I wipe my car every day after back from work. Wash my car every 3 days. [sly]

Agreed, owned white/black/blue/red before

white and black both are high maintenance colour, difference is white clean will look nice liao, black still must maintain its shine...

So worst is black... best is red/blue/silver... they "eat" up dirt... but silver is boring...

No problem, u just have to ask urself this qns:

1) Will u wan to maintain the car?

2) Will it create an "itch" if u see ur car dirty and u must wash it?

Pls stay away from the usual suspects, black and white, if u r not "hardworking".

White is pretty but to make it shiny always is very difficult. Even when you park at shelter area, dirt still exist on your car. Once you wipe, dirt is what you see and that make you wanted to wash it but the time does not allow (resting)

Best to park your car and walk off, dun even look at it. If you start wiping, you will see one patch of area is white and the rest is greyish (dirt) [laugh][sleeping]

Mine is pearl white and love to make my car clean. but it seem like it not possible to clean it everyday. You had to spend your time and effort tho. For now, Im ok but not the future tho. [laugh][laugh][laugh][laugh]

I think white is hardest to clean as dark color stains can be seen easily. Black is second worst to maintain, but when polished looks wet and glossy IMO more rewarding after detailing, black also easy to decorate using chrome accessories.

My opinion is that if you do not like/have time/inclination to detail yet are fussy about the visual outlook of your vehicle, then avoid white and black colours [:)] else you will go insane.

That being said, if you park in a sheltered car park at home and work, do not work around industrial estates, then it will be easier to maintain the shine and gloss of white/black cars.

Also black leather or fabric interior will be the best too for ease of cleaning or masking of dirt/marks [:p]

ok I settled for a white car [;)]

any special cleaner to get rid of tough bird dropping? Some bird dropping very tough to remove, it even leaves like a layer of lacquer on my current car paint... some violet color with seeds.... [knife]

do u guys notice sometime got tiny spot pinkish color that like splashing marks.... dunn what it is..... when u reove it, it's like crispy kind of thing.

For bird poop, you got to remove it as soon as possible before it sets in. The cheapest and probably most cost effective way is to use either a wet towelette or normal tissue paper that has absorbed water and lightly dab at the patch till the poop softens and quickly wipe it away. If you are real anal about it, then you should re-apply sealant/wax over this area after your next car wash.

If the poop has hardened then good luck! [:p]
