Polisher for Wheels

I love my wheels but having a hard time keeping brake dust and what not off it.

I normally use cotton pad and Zaino Z5/Z2 to polish the surface of wheel but it is getting harder (and me getting lazier).

Anyone here knows if there are any mini polisher that is battery (or car battery) operated that could be used to polish wheels?

I've looked at a few. For example, the B&D scrubber, it is actually meant for washing dishes. As such, the fittings are all not friendly to painted surface like wheels.

I've also thought about buying one of those battery operated hand tool but again finding the right attachment to polish the wheel would be hard.

So, anyone has any suggestions?

Thank you. But I am looking for polisher, not wax. Your suggestion is good though, never head of Sonax before. May be after I managed to polish the surface clean before applying.

Is my question confusing?

Actually its not a wax, its like a top coat over your wheels..it seems to be working, wheels do seem more shiny. You have to apply and rub it in.

Forget brushes, they are never clean as there are gaps between the bristles, there is a tyre car mitt at autobacs, you wear it like a glove and you can reach every nook and cranny.

Just an idea here. Get those rubber sanding disc backing plates that attach to a shank, then attach to a cordless drill. Use epoxy to attach velcro strips to the backing plate & buy a 4" polishing pad normally used on DA polishers. Voila, a battery operated mini polisher that is adjustable for speed. You can also buy various types of pads for buffing, finishing etc to use when needed. [:p]

Hey bro Rm2s, you are welcome [;)] . I know there used to be a Mothers products distributor in Singapore located somewhere in Tampines but not too sure if they bring in this PowerBall. I will PM you a number which you can call to check.

Hi Gen2,

Besides Mother's Powerball, are there any other similar drill attachments available locally? I will be using Meguiar's NXT metal polish on my deep dish 3-piece polished rims. I can't seem to reach the inner edge where the spokes & rivets meet the lip of the rim.

Thanks!
