is it cheaper than a 7 yr old trajet?

i think i'd prefer the trajet. sure, consumption sure MUCH worse than the minz, but at least can go above 140km/h safely, better comfort, etc etc.

or u dare to say ur minz is more comfy than a trajet? it may be more value to u (that i do not dispute) but it sure loses out in some ways

stock can go 170+, modded can go a bit higher, 180+ laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif it definately can seat 8 with some boot space, damn heavy, you can feel it when you close the door sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif and the worst part is the FC sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif Don't think you can find 7yr old Trajet, most of those 4yrs+ are mostly exported. A 2 yr old should be less than $50k for the 2L beta II engine which is much better then those pre 04 FL model that are using Sirus engine.

Ai ya, cheap can alreadi... Sillyporean can buy car good liao mah... So economical for larger family.... If can drive within speed limit and safely, why not a Hafei rite..

yes, you do have a point there, it's cheap and gets from point A to B. But on the part about safety, even if you were to drive within speed limit and safely, you do not have any control on how othere driver's drive on the road sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

when the front tyres are so thin, u don't need power steering wink.gif

anyway, in the past, before power steering was common, u have to ensure that the car is moving (even for a bit) then u can do whatever steering u want to do. just like how it's taught at driving school. wanna turn steering wheel on the spot, w/o power steering, when the car is not moving, is gonna be much harder

talk about power steering, my 1st Alfa Romeo 33 1.7QV do not have it, everytime when I want to park my car, it's sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

With top speed of 110km/h... they are not worried that they will get a speeding ticket that easily.

van can only travel at 70km/h wat.... [dizzy]

how is this Hafei different from van [dizzy]

according to the one motoring review..you need to apply brake pedals with engine brakes to have any meaningful deceleration..in terms of safety, that's one big no no..

[sweatdrop] wah...then LTA better paste a 50km/h sticker behind every Minz

sure different from van.

most van run on diesel, cheaper, better pickup from traffic lights.

my van could go above 160km/h [sly]. not sure about the minz [laugh]

other Trajet owners claim to be able to hit 8+, some close to 9+, for me, lesser then 7 sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

come to think of it, all the cars/bikes that I've own seems to have bad FC than other owners of similar make, I think something is wrong with me (or rather my right foot laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif) and not the ride laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif

I've seen really many hafei minz on the road.

with poor quality paint.

why is it so popular with singaporeans ah? [hur]

Sadly, it's true that the roads are seeing more of these cheap cars. I cringe at the sight of these so call sedans and MPV's from china. Gone are the days when we used to mock the Hyundai Accents and Nissan Sunnys!

Erm, good question.

I think if i'm a middle age man, who really wants the convenience of a car so that can drive family/older parents (esp if they have wheelchair) around and don't have much of a budget, yea...its the hafie minz for me [:)][sweatdrop]

I think eurovans handles very well too...

Last week was having a little fun driving at about 80+ km/hr along the zig-zagging upper paya lebar road at 1am.

Before i knew it, saw a eurovan maintaining about 2-3 cars length behind me maintaining distance all the way till mac pherson road junction [sweatdrop] When it overtook me there, i saw that it was a kangoo on stock tyres [thumbsup][thumbsup][thumbsup]
