How much does it cost? and how it is attached to the top of the car. Chickenbackside 1st Gear May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 Actually, that is not true. Saab was the 1st one to use shark fin antennas if I remember correctly. If you look around, Saab and Volvo cars all have shark fin antennas. BMW's shark fins are the most streamlined looking though. The other European cars shark fins are shorter and more upright. Chickenbackside 1st Gear May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 Dummy? Really? You mean they drilled the hole below the shark fin and run wires through it on my car for fun? Sigh... Bloody cheaters!

Chickenbackside 1st Gear May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 Just kidding lah bro. Please don't take offense. Actually, my last car was a BMW, and the funny thing is, most E46's (the last generation 3 series) do not have shark fins. Those that do come from the factory installed. But many many people use 3M tape and stick one on to the roofs of their BMW's. On the contrary, I don't know anyone who owns other brand Euro cars do that. Firstly, most of them already have shark fins installed from the factory. Secondly, they are somehow not as vain as BMW owners, haha...
