No la. Planned obsolescence is practised by every company these days. Japanese and koreans.

hahaha....giving an excuse to buy a bigger one!

My son bought Skyworth from giant. Not bad....plain looking but the picture are crisp and clear.

still got a working national 14" crt tv in my storeroom......i prefer the planned obsolescence are based on my needs and not theirs.....

low end Toshiba Tv have quite lousy picture quality. But they really are rock solid. Both my old TV in my parents place and my in laws are still fine at 9 years Edited by Lala81

Yours high end one. My one is really low end. 800+ for 37 inch. I also bought in 2007-2008.

 

Im using 40 inch in a bedroom OK LA. Maybe 46" then considered bit bigger lol

hahaha......not so high end lar......that time my Phillip matchline got no lines already......so must buy chop chop! Went to Gaincity and made a cash purchase.....salesman said cash is king maciam T2 like that...

Yes, the TV still working well.

Now the magic remote can use again.

So I can get the apps page now, use wireless keyboard to key the searches.
