Ah_low Neutral Newbie May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 (edited) Have any bros used both the products, any differences in result? Saw in forums mentioning that they are the same products but in different packaging. The price is also different with Carlack being more expensive (Carlack 68 - 1 litre is $58 while Hi Glaze 88 is $18 for 350ml) Edited May 11, 2008 by Ah_low ↡ Advertisement

Ivan96935sg Neutral Newbie May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 Carlack to me seem a better product.....with its long history and accolades. Personally, I've only tried Hi-Glaze 88 but not Carlack.
Ah_low Neutral Newbie May 11, 2008 Author Share May 11, 2008 How abt the shine and duration of the shine? Is carlack 68 better?
Paddie 3rd Gear May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 Can't really say as I have been using Hi Glaze all the way after discovering it's easier to use. My friend who runs a professional spray painting/polishing shop also uses Hi Glaze as he said it's one of the best all-round products.
Booboon 1st Gear May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 where to find carlack? HG88 is easy to use but not very lasting.
Ivan96935sg Neutral Newbie May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 Try searching online....there's someone bringing them in and I also know of a grooming centre in Toa Payoh which uses solely Carlack stuffs.
Scrambyjess Neutral Newbie May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 If you interested in carlack you might as well try klasse as I heard both are very similar, acrlyic based AIO. Both can be applied on plastic and metal parts and doesnt stain. One con bout carlack is that it dries almost immediately and muz be applied and buffed panel by panel.. whereas klasse is more user friendly and easier to buff. Results are quite impressive and lasting if you use it the rite way.

In autopia forum, there are posting saying that both Klasse and Carlack are from the same manufacturer.
