I have malaysian fren working in the same company, first job, and even after graduating with first degree, still have to work one year on employment pass before getting PR. And we're talking malaysians here, not total foreigners like from china or india. This was in the mid 90s... Anyone here can confirm? Only those who were on scholarships and bonded after graduation could get PR offer straightaway.
