I think not worth it to visit petrol station too often, hoping to outwit the potential price hike.

 

Each time they raise price, you can only have one chance to 'win' them.

That is only a one time $1.5 saved (50liters x 3cents = $1.5)

 

Worth it or not?

Just don't buy that can of Coke for lunch today...you would have saved equally much!

Just a thought, how much will petrol need to cost for you to dramatically change your driving habits or give up your car completely? $3 per litre?

 

And if that happens, what will happen to the 2nd hand car market? Flooded with cars driving prices down?

 

Hmm...has anyone kept track of the crude oil prices to the fuel price increases? Wonder how much it will cost when crude oil hits $140 per barrel...then $160....finally $200....

Anyway,

 

I have not seen any singapore petrol bill reflect in my credit card bill for 3 months.

Use to be SGD 500 every month.

But now only SGD 200 (RM 460)every month with Jaybee V-power...

Total saving SGD 900 for 3months .

Going for a short trip for relaxing by the beach in langkawi with this SGD 900.

How much Singapore petrol going to raise the price...No effect to me anymore..

I remeber Shell 98 was $1.55 per litre before credit card discounts in Aug 06. It is now $2.081. Increase 34%. But my pay never increase 34% leh.

Actually i have records of all my petrol transactions cos i monitor my FC since i bought my car back in June 2005. Too heartpain to look back at fuel prices back then...

 

But too bad i didn't tag the corresponding crude oil prices then. I don't think there a chart available anywhere which reflects the fuel prices vs the crude oil prices right?
