Tploh Clutched May 6, 2008 Share May 6, 2008 aspect Db was the yesteryear quiet tyres, and lousy grip in wet. Nowadays, Bridgestone GR80 has exceeded Apect Db's performance. There is a hankook something 8 which is also recommended by many forums which you can check out too.
Vampgen Neutral Newbie May 6, 2008 Author Share May 6, 2008 Thanks Bro, Decided to get Hankook V8 since a lot of ppl says that it is the most balanced tyre bewteen performance and noise level. I am on a 3way RA component right now

Tanjkp Clutched May 6, 2008 Share May 6, 2008 i am on a 195/60/15 Aspect DB right now. Thanks DB is suppose to be quiet tyres. Changing tyres will not improve much. Don waste money, ur ride original insulation already fixed. Only some insulation will cut down another 5% or a bit more but no more. The design and original insulation will decide the noise level after a car left factory. After market can improve slightly but not totally. Lexus can provide more quiet as it is designed and fitted to be quiet.
Slidingturtle Neutral Newbie May 11, 2008 Share May 11, 2008 hiya, so how do you find the tyres so far? i was on that for abt 30K+ km in my previous ride, 16inch tyres in a civic ES1... for me comparatively, it was much quieter than the dunlop sportmaxx, and probably on par (in terms of initial quietness) with the mich pilot preceda. the first 20k i suppose it was ok, but as it ages, the roar also start... cheers,
Hyun Neutral Newbie July 31, 2008 Share July 31, 2008 hi turtle, u feel that DB was on par with mich PP (PP2 right?) in noise? ↡ Advertisement
