I am assuming Jap better based on the normal convention (jap products better quality blah blah blah)... better rubber? even though the rubber could be from M'sia or even thailand?? tongue.gif

Mine is either Thai made or M'sia made.. not very sure.. but they do give me good grips and i was intro to it by my colleague who said that they are quite lasting..

but again, like i said if comfort and less road noise is wat you want, then performance tires are not wat you want.. I got used to the road noise aldy... and I tend to blast my radio and CD anyway... sweatdrop.giftongue.gif

Hi Redliner

Guess Mojoe is right.

lets disregard the country of production for the tires and lets concentrate on the basic facts first.

Performance tires offers fantastic grip, it cuts the water very well but again it creates hell lot of road noise.

comfort ones will give you less noise but lousier traction.

so the most impt thing of coz is to decide first on what a driver is looking out for.

for my case, like mojoe, i prefer a better grip and my system can drown the road noise. (not that its good, coz it drowns noise from engine and you may let problems slip through your fingers)
