He told PA Sport: 'Drogba is a very interesting player that many clubs would want to have but he is under contract at Chelsea and I believe he will remain at Chelsea next season.' Arr...... Spurman Supercharged May 6, 2008 Share May 6, 2008 So far most argentinians that came to england somehow flopped or din do that badly but leave after a short stint. E.g Veron, Crespo, Heinze and etc. Tevez maybe the only exception but still too early to tell as he has only one good season and an avg season under his belt so far.. I agree that no matter how good a player is, he is nvr worth 80M. I think 35-40M should be the max for any offer even if he is currently the best footballer on the planet. If want to pay 80M, might as well spend 40M of it on a very good striker, 25M on a good midfielder and 15M on a good defender and strengthen your whole squad. in 1978, mighty Spurs signed two Argentina world cup winners, Ossie Ardiles and ricky Villa, with mixed results. Ossie Ardiles went on to be a legend while compatriot Villa did score a stunning FA cup winner goal in 1981, probably the best goal scored in Wembley, Villa was flogged off earlier coz of inconsistency. Spurman Supercharged May 6, 2008 Share May 6, 2008 ai ya, Spurs Kaboul rebel only coz he play little games.. Berbatov well, he has disappointed this yr with his attitute and this alone has incurred the wrath of fellow spurs players and supporters.. He is becomming a distraction to the team, no longer a team player.. Sell him for a right price and get in David Villa
Evilernie 4th Gear May 6, 2008 Share May 6, 2008 80m can buy more good players to strengthen the team then just on one player. I consider that over price. I'm sure there are good player around. With those money why not spend on training & scouting yourh players for the future.

Drogba is going no where....... Barca might appoint JM and they could lure Drogba over (maybe with Eto going opp direction?) Drogba's heart have been with JM ever since the latter left..JM was his mentor giving him full support when he had a difficult start to the BPL..
