Hot & Humid Weather: How you keep cool?

It has been hot and humid for the past week. So hot that I avoid eating in non-aircon places during day time. Night time sleep also very uncomfortable. Some more I bathe using cold water but the moment I step out of bath room, start to sweat already. When will this crazy weather end? [:/]

I bought a huge 16 inch Akira high-velocity fan at $39.90.

Full-blasting it from just behind my back and it also managed to keep dust away from my nose because of its position.

I am feeling cool. [cool]

Just like enjoying strong sea breeze by the beach! [laugh]

Bro, no offence but I heard a response to your chinese phrase in our already unbearable hot and humid weather. It goes like this : " xin jing zi ran liang? wo shuo gan ni niang"! [laugh]

Think my electricity bill will sky-rocket liao. So hot until I just conveniently switch on air-con during day time.

$39.90 from Giant at Turf City. Remember to keep the 1 year warranty card.

Your $39.90 should be able to last for 1 year. Even if it is spoilt (within the first year), you can still get it repaired for free. I am fully utilizing it now.

Very well-worth the money, I strongly recommend. Even my sensitive nose is cured because it blew away the dust near my nose.

BTW: I bought one "PowerPac" velocity fan 1 year ago and it was spoilt. I forgot to keep the card, otherwise I could get it repaired for free.

This is what I am currently enjoying right now:

Surfing MCF with a cup of coffee while enjoying an artificial sea breeze at full-blast.

What else do I need to ask for?

Electricity bill for velocity fan should be much lower than air-con.

It helps to circulate the air in the room at the same time.

My best investment in household equipment so far.
