Turbocharged

120,000 seems high for a 3 years old car. my ride 3.5 years only 48k. but on average for a 3 years old car should be about 60 to 80 k

Suspensions --> pretty gd.. test drive over bumpy terrain, can't feel anything

Engine mountings --> not sure on this

Coolant --> not sure on this as well

Check water pump for leaks --> saw got water droplets coming down the undercarriage from rear of car.. feels like condensation water from aircon as felt cold

Brake fluids, pads --> previous owner just changed

Tyres --> previous owner just changed

Beltings --> changed at 100k

my advice would be not to get it. A 40k mileage per year car is more than the average mileage for a singapore car of 20k-30k per year.

also like some of the bros here mentioned, those parts such as bearings, belts, suspensions may have worn off and need replacement due to the high mileage. we may not know if the previous owner or dealer got change these things before they sell to you.

Think you already decided to buy despite people's objection? So you just need more agreement vote just all.

Again I stressed that be it PI or AD, they usually provide warranty up to 100,000km, only Toyota provide up to 140,000km, if you do not get what I trying to lay across the message, then all the best as it your money and decision, we are bystanders giving advise.

Look for other car lah.Imagine for the next few years, sure a few things will wear and tear due to the high milage and need replace.$$$. Must as well get same car with a lower milage. Or look for something near to it like Toyota wish etc. [thumbsup][thumbsup]

hi, not true that i've decided to buy.. heh heh, else i would have put deposit there and then..

went thru KM servicing package but only show up to 100,000km. what happens if ur car reached 110,000km and so on? reset to 10000km servicing package?

Depending on how much cheaper than the closest.

1-2k might not be much while but paying this 1-2k more doesn't guarantee that the next car with less 30k mileage will be problem free.

It is a matter of luck

Just be prepare 1-2k for items such as:

1)alternator

2)air con compressor

3)shocks absorber

Do take note of the transmission as it is quite costly for auto

Engine wise should not be a problem if serviced regularly and not abused

But for japanese makes I think shouldn't be a problem.

DO remember to compare the COE with the price too
