Scoots 3rd Gear May 7, 2008 Share May 7, 2008 (edited) My mistake. What I mean to illustrate is that with walk over in one constituency, the 'vote' is tallied under the only candicate for that contituency. My point was to show LV3338 his rationale for a 33% representation of OP is not correct. Don't have to be firey before getting a clarification right? .... Scoots 3rd Gear May 7, 2008 Share May 7, 2008 (edited) Jialat... one mis-reply and I am labelled Pro-MIW liow. As I have explained above, my main point was to show that your 33%/66% rationale is incorrect. I think you should read up all my responses to anything related to MIW before labelling me from reading only 1 posting. Lv3338 Clutched May 7, 2008 Share May 7, 2008 (edited) we all know what we talking...sometime is good to create confusing message.... so that they do not know we pro or anti MIW.... i see your point...33% of non-pro ...in actual there should be more... u are trying to get my percentage right...i understand But system transparency is more of my concern.... pro or anit MIW doesn't matter...as long it is a fair system... Scoots 3rd Gear May 7, 2008 Share May 7, 2008 (edited) In actuality, there can be more and can be less... we don't know if those walkover areas have more than 33% for OP or less than 33% for OP. A fair and transparent system should be unbiased. Food for thought: Don't you think your response of "in actual there should be more" very contradictory to what you are advocating for in the first place... NOT 100%............. u seems pro MIW...ha actually i wonder, if there is chance of >50% may vote for non-miw, would the opposition be able to find out how sweet the ground is? because if they do, then they know where to contest. i think that with the strong membership base in hougang for WP, sure they know the ground there, but without members in other constituency, how? or they already know so maybe the contested constituency is already the better chance ones? Scoots 3rd Gear May 9, 2008 Share May 9, 2008 over 1 million mainland Chinese in out 4+ million population???!!... that's slightly less than quarter. Lets say all the foreign workers (talents and labourers) all add up to be somewhere between a quarter to somewhere less than half the population, it's still a very alarming figure .... Talk about Singapore identity, My Singapore, My Home... all BS. Looks more like Imported Singapore identity, My Singapore, THEIR home ....
