Calvin53 Neutral Newbie April 29, 2008 Share April 29, 2008 really hate yp nowadays.. Old uncle aunties also scold , chea, beat or even rob.. just like the recent case on the taxi driver, their hard earn money. but thanks god they were caught. Find someone on their own age lah.. Respect the elders
Lightbringer 6th Gear April 29, 2008 Share April 29, 2008 This is really too much... they shld be huntum big time on the spot and have their rides scratched, sprayed with paint and acid, and tires punctured/rims scratched... road rage is unacceptable as it is, but this is really taking it one notch further if possible. Once at the West Coast market carpark on ahpek in a wish which was parked head in reversed out at high speed without checking for incoming traffic, aka me. His rear almost slammed into me at high speed and it was a good thing I wasn't fumbling with my seatbelt or with my dvd player. I had to swerve badly to avoid him and almost buang into a lorry coming towards me on the opposite lane! I was sooo angry and agitated, but took a big swing from my water bottle, got down from my car, went over to the wish and told the ah pek, "uncle, next time please look out for traffic before you chiong out like that. you gave me a big shock and almost banged into me. luckily i managed to swerve in time. please be more careful ok?" Could see that he was pretty shaken up too and he apologized profousely together with his wife, which I waved off with a smile and then went back to my car. I can never understand those people who follow other cars back to their carparks or ask people to come out settle, go in front jambrake, whack ppl over some slight on the road, etc These people are really bo eng, small gas and probably suffering from some ego issues. BTW if you guys think the road etiquette situation in Singapore is bad, please do read (i think) Page 2 of yesterday's (Monday) Strait Times regarding road rage in India. I was like when I read that article.. really extreme.
Flyerking 3rd Gear April 29, 2008 Author Share April 29, 2008 Woah, bro! You went JB last night at 130am still got jam? This is nuts! I try to go in around 9pm plus but gave up when I saw how long the queue was on the BKE. I think by that time, the BKE to custom was CLOSED right at the entrance.. accessible to bikes. They force us to exit and use the road below.. thats why the bloody jam. Think bike skidded before that and cause jam cos i see a bike on the ground road shoulder with debri all around. Yes, they closed the flyover. Only motorbikes are accesible. All cars and buses are diverted underneath the flyover. Bad jam due to this. The closed because of the motorbike accident is it? Or is it always like that? I have encountered a few motorbike accidents along the slope up at BKE just few hundred metre from Singapore customs. That place is kinda jinxed. Even in daytime when there is almost nil traffic going up the slope, motorbike can fall and ride legs fractured.

Lightbringer 6th Gear April 29, 2008 Share April 29, 2008 near miss accident means u can go whack anybody you like ah? somemore 2 young strapping fellas against a helpless old man... what sort of world are you living in? the ice age izzit?
Kifakw Clutched April 29, 2008 Share April 29, 2008 (edited) of course not but some unker and ahma, just because they think that they are old and elderly. they can abused this priveliege by taking the respect for granted instead and many things cannot be solved via the legal way, this is why in our daily lives. alot of things are taken into people's own hands instead. if singapore is such a lawful country, proper justice will already be serve for certain road offenders. Lightbringer 6th Gear April 29, 2008 Share April 29, 2008 Agreed on that point. But I still think whacking anybody, especially the elderly, over such minor road incidents or disputes is unforgivable. Anybody who is unable to deal with the inevitable agitation or odd incident on the road should get off the road and WALK instead of acting like a hooligan. There are some people who definitely deserved to be whacked upside down, like that fella Mr Lim who jam braked before an ERP gantry because he didn't have a cashcard in his IU, hence causing a serious accident, and still remained totally incontrite and unremorseful.
