Furrynadz 5th Gear April 28, 2008 Share April 28, 2008 not sure abt prices, but some feedback ad07 = lousy in wet rs2 = better than ad07 wideoval = crappest of the lot here ku31 = 2nd most all balanced of the lot here f1 = most balanced of the lot here (assuming still can get germany :p) re01r u mean? save the $ get rs-
Dynaway 1st Gear April 28, 2008 Author Share April 28, 2008 funny.... Car&Driver seems to rate AD07 much higher than RS-2... Firestone Wideoval was rated higher than Kumho KU31 in Tirerack review.. i'm comparing only 2 tyres AD07 or RS-2... if price diff not much...
Kenmical Clutched April 29, 2008 Share April 29, 2008 If price not much diff i think it's best u go with AD07 as it is slightly more established in local condition. Personally i dun play hero in wet condition but when it comes to dry AD07's grip is amazing, almost too tough to do 3 pt turn becos its too sticky. Set back is wear and tear rate super high...8 months max for me.
Toyo 1st Gear April 29, 2008 Share April 29, 2008 1) Advan Neova AD07 2) Hankook RS-2 - $100++ 3) Firestone Wideoval 4) Kumho SPT KU31 - $75-80 5) Eagle F1 6) Potenza RE01 - $140-150 not sure abt others. my friend just switched from KU31 to RS-2 told me RS-2 quite good

Kenmical Clutched April 30, 2008 Share April 30, 2008 Mileage travelled is approximately 12k km... The last time i used PP2 which is another good tyre lasted longer 16 months.
Kenmical Clutched April 30, 2008 Share April 30, 2008 AD07 is abt $
Boyboy 1st Gear April 30, 2008 Share April 30, 2008 not sure abt outright grip but if u track, RS2 better than AD07 any day, in terms of it will not wear out so fast. i saw ad-07 vs rs2 wear rate at PG before.. RS2 is quite good in the wet, but i dunno about ad07.
Huat138 2nd Gear April 30, 2008 Share April 30, 2008 anyone has any idea the estimated cost of the following tyres for 195/50R15?? 1) Advan Neova AD07 2) Hankook RS-2 3) Firestone Wideoval 4) Kumho SPT KU31 - S$70 5) Eagle F1 6) Potenza RE01
Kenmical Clutched April 30, 2008 Share April 30, 2008 Have to agree on wear rate. It's giving me headache on which nxt after awhile. Main contributor to wear rate is it's compound is too soft (for grip). AD07 is average under normal wet driving condition but once the turbo kicks in...all hell breaks loose. Kenmical Clutched April 30, 2008 Share April 30, 2008 Haha...had a few runs in Msia with my 323 buddies also contributed to the wear. Btw lemme know the nxt CVR-T meet up ok? Will be there...
