Hey bros,

i just cme back from thomson caltex servicing center. It's really a fast job paid 30bucks as i also bring my spark plug to change it and coolant. Think it's really worth it if u just do the 10k servicing he say it's 15bucks for that.

thats cheap. you brought your own parts from stockist ?

Hey guys. I have been checking this forum out for the cheapest and best servicing lobang.

But recently i found Yew Tee Industrial Estate. Cheap and good service. Good for those staying around the area!

Labour for Oil, oil filter and spark plugs change is only $12! Including checking of basic fluids and blowing of air filter upon request.

Can get cheap car parts and accessories in that area. Denso Iridium spark plugs x 4 only for $60 and Oil filters for just $5. I also just changed my Honda air filter for just $13.

Most importantly... they dont any how tell you to change this and that. Good personal service. Cheaper than Thomson [bounce1]

Edit:

Oh ya.. for those interested, the workshop is Blk 1 #387J S(677954)

went there for servicing. Quoted S$100+ by the Uncle (I hate this type of uncertain quote).

Since im there, ask them to go ahead. Final bill S$120.

All the spare parts are provided by me.

The worst thing is, they dont know where my a/c filter is located. In the end, didnt change the a/c filter.

Change E/O

Chang ATF

Change air filter

Chang brake fluid

Change steering fluid

I got the receipt. Didnt itemise.

Yours includes free coolant and brake fluid which worth S$20-S$30. Mine is only labour.

They are open on Sunday. This is the only exception if i will to visit them again.

For that same amount of price, i would rather go to WS with air-con lounge and free kopi and sit down comfortably to access my notebook.

See attached scanned pic of my bill. I went to my car and get it. Sorry, dont know much abt my company's high tech copier so scanning missing the below portion, which is the total price.

But u can calculate, the total price was $245. I changed my battery too. I find it cheap for an Amaron batt.post-2654-1306304719_thumb.jpg

Just to clarify, the $20 engine oil change in my bill is actually :

$15 for engine oil change and $5 for spark plug change. If you dont need change spark plug, its $15 only for engine oil change.

I will still visit him for my servicing. I find his price reasonable. Somemore, no GST. :D

The Amaron is not that cheap bro. I also changed NS60 for $110 2 weeks ago, at Leong Seng.

I consider it cheap cos my bro told me previously CAS charged him $130+ with GST for that same battery.

Since I am there, might as well change it there rather than driving ard scouting for the cheapest battery. :D If I want the cheapest, I would have driven to scrapyard and get those $20-30 used MF batteries. [laugh] They are the cheapest I could find!!!
