that took the WS (another one) abt 20 mins for mine which is inside the fuel tank. so it should not be a problem at all..

timing belt i heard is somewhat more "major". not sure if can just do walk-in as he seems to be almost running a one-man show.

I just visited him on 26/07/08, he still charge me S$10 leh. Brought my own oil and oil filter. Maybe he know me liao so same price. [laugh] This is my 10K servicing, will see him again when I hit 20K in 6mths time.

He gave me the same good for value service, drain oil -> remove oil filter -> replace oil filter -> top up oil -> check all my car fluids including wiper fluid -> clean air filter -> pay him S$10 and [wave][wave][wave]

Fuss free servicing. [thumbsup]

Not yet. That will happen only 1.5yrs down the road when the car hit 40K. [laugh] But I hear one workshop can do it and have done it for the axio.

OK good luck.

Maybe that's another problem of having the latest technology. Not many WS know what to do for basic servicing. [thumbsdown]

If u can get buddy buddy with the authorised WS for the PI's that sell Axio, they just might give u some info. [sly][nod]

oh gosh i just went down to thomson caltex earlier and the uncle told me they no longer help to change for engine oil...

anyone knows where we can go to change? ie. we bring our own oil and just pay for labour charge?

Side track answer. There isn't any around there.you might need to go to quite a popular shop in Payar lebar to get it.Dunno if you have tried it,but its quite good.

Anyway the Caltex is confirmed under serious reno(excavation, knock downs),and i hope that good service uncle will go back there.Dunno if Caltex is going to give up the spot for the n next higher bidder for that service bay..keep our fingers crossed.

After renovation, the rental sure go up to recover the $$.

If uncle fill the pinch or if other willing to pay for the higher rental..

Guess we have to look for other alternatives..
