I was at Avillion a few months back. If you are looking for luxury, sorry, the place needs a little bit of aprucing up.

The facilities itself is pretty fine, like the quiet adult pool, the spa housed in the over-water building etc... Peacocks running all over the place with little chicks following behind... Nice... but the water chalets are a little in need of renovations. I stayed at the premium water ones. Weather beaten outside, looks a little worn inside and a little worse for wear overall... Not to say it is terrible, but not exactly what i was expecting for the price....

Adding insult to injury, half the lights and electrical stuff does not work in my room, switchboard problem. Took the hotel 4 hours to send someone down to my room, and ended up tripping again... I lived with half the lights available... <_<

Haha bro I stayed in Legends exactly 2 yrs back for my birthday celebrations. [laugh]

Not bad actually, I stayed at the hotel level 10 can overlook the Straits of Malacca.

Room is big and nice with jacuzzi and rain shower, 1king bed and 1 queen bed, can share by 2 couples. Think I book via latestays.com around S$120.

Attach some pics and video links. Pardon the grainy videos and my wife's act cute voice. haha. [laugh][laugh]

hi,

yeah. Like what bro Tohto said, I was looking up the reviews for Avillion on Tripadvisor website and the feedback is rather mixed. Some say is very good, some said the place is rather run down. I've already booked the water chalet at Avillion for the long weekend next week... now kind of worried.

How How?

how was the trip???

Dear All,

Can someone tell me what is the diff between Water Chalet & Water Homes?

Which is of a better choice to relax?

We plan to go during CNY or Early March.. Any suggestions, opinions, recommendation??? [wave]

Just came back from The Legend Water Chalets.

STRONGLY recommend for family or couples!

Do opt for the sea view and u will not regret.

Quite a number of stuffs to do for 3D2N.

My family enjoyed.

Ostrich farm/ride, go kart, horse ride, buggy ride, beach, sea sports, great sun etc...

Food wise so so for me. Tried yuan Xiang as reco by this forum n disappointed with the food especially baby sotong. Is soft instead of cripsy.
