Neutral Newbie

Hi

Anyone been to this place and heard that it's so popular the coming Vesak Holiday is fully booked. Perhaps, anybody can tips off any sources of securing a room.

I just came back from it. The villa is definitely not run down, neither does it give me the posh feeling. The highlight of the villa is a mini pool in the room itself perfect for couples - can swim naked. You can stand in your room and see through at the sea on a square tile (with cobwebs beneath your feet).

Low tide in the morning makes the surrounding like a swamp. Please bring your mosquito repellent. Breakfast buffet is so so. Parking is multistory and corners are quite tight for any towing to take place, so i think its pretty secure for singapore cars to park overnight.

If you drive there, stop at melacca. Its only about an hr away.

Did consider before. But reading on the review a lot said the room is quite run down already. Need a full renovate

Going for a trip up Penang during June and was thinking of dropping by Port Dickson on the way back.

Was looking at Tiara beach resort for the water theme park for boys but the review for the resort looks terrible (tripadvisor).

Anyone been there recently can advice?

If not, anyone knows of any decent resort, preferably with water parks (for kids) and bathtub (as they always like to play in the tub during holiday).

Thanks.

hi,

yeah. Like what bro Tohto said, I was looking up the reviews for Avillion on Tripadvisor website and the feedback is rather mixed. Some say is very good, some said the place is rather run down. I've already booked the water chalet at Avillion for the long weekend next week... now kind of worried.
