Agree, Honda cars in any range are built for more power than comfort.

Do you need a fast car or a car that always have better pickup than others? If you need such factor then you should not be buying an NA car as you should be considering F1 car instead.

For me, safety and comfort are more important especially in Singapore as there are many racers who are driving NA cars driving recklessly endangers other's life.

So people who want luxury should consider rolls royce?

Did anyone watch the 5th gear recently? Out from the 10 SUV competition, Nissian X-trail win over RAV4 and CRV. That show than Nissian car is not inferior to the other 2.

people who say nissan is inferior to other brands are clearly frog in the well. having previously owned a nissan latio, i was won over by the brand for it's reliability, build quality and engineering. it is as good as the best offering from japan, and better than some japanese brands. The fact that the most common car on the road in japan is none but nissan, is testimony to its dominance.

having sat in the facelifted Sylphy, it had a luxurious interior, with good rear legroom. however, shoulder room is lacking, so getting 3 adults at the back can be a squeeze.

it would be better if the sylphy had rear air-con, like the Teana big brother.

the 1.5L is just sluggish la...go for the 2.0L if you must.

really love the ultra huge 1-arm length deep glove box. really useful in terms of storage, but excessing it may be a problem.

That's when "mistake" is made and it's when lotsa people kpkb no power no power & high FC.

2L is meant for Sylphy body. Teana needs a bigger heart.

Nissan Sylphy is a good car.

But I don't understand why people so concern about fuel consumption when price of car here is so high.

Willingly paying 10k to 20K more just for that little fuel consumption improvement.

e.g.

fuel price : $2 per litre

$20000 can buy 10000litre of petrol

If you have a 50 litre tank, you can pump 200 time

if you go to petrol kiosk once a week, you can pump for for 3.8 years.

If really so concern about fuel consumptiuon because want to save the earth and you are very rich,

Go buy the Hybrid car like Prius.

If want performance, go ahead and buy the sporty car

If want comfort, go and buy the luxury / comforty family sedan.

Anyway, Good fuel consumptiuon still depend on your left foot and maintenance status of your car.

Buy what you need and be happy with it. 各取所需.

Humans generally have short-term memories and they tend to forget the bad-times easily.

If really so concern about fuel consumptiuon because want to save the earth and you are very rich, Go buy the Hybrid car like Prius.

Hybrids aren't necessary expensive now. Don't forget the Insight II and new Prius is actually cheaper than the last model.

Anyway, Good fuel consumptiuon still depend on your left foot...

I presumed you meant RIGHT?
