"Wait AT LEAST 12 hours before applying another coat of SG. SG needs time to cure and bond to your paint surface. I would personally wait a week. If you've driven the car ANYWHERE, then wash it before applying the next layer, or else you will just re-swirl your car."

 

Wash it before applying, means AIO or just water and microfibre?, or water/soap and microfibre?

 

And where to get Meguir #21? Apply Meguir #21 after all the my layers of sealant done is it? haha

One more question from me also.

 

Got some stain on the paintwork. I reckon its tree sap. Tried the Tuff Kote Cleaner that came with the car, tried just rubbing with the MF cloth and can't seem to remove the stain.

 

Can advise on how to remove this stain?

 

The stain must be removed before my 2nd layer of SG can go on right?

IXAT,

 

Try to use AIO rub the stain a few times with some pressure. Hope can remove it, otherwise,

you need to get some stronger polish to remove it..

Will try that this weeknd. If AIO doesn't do. What polish do you recommend that goes well with AIO+SG?

 

If i use another polish for the stain, just reapply SG will do? Or must do AIO then SG again?

Can SG protect against bird droppings?

U can try Scratch X, but if the stain is not that obvious, I shall just

leave it alone. U ride shine shine ppl also can't see

 

Using AIO to keep polish the stain it will help to minimize it. But

u need to do it many many times.

Regarding the bird droppings, actually no product can really protect the

paint work 100%.

 

Of course, if you hv some kind of protection like KSG, it really can slow

down the time for the bird droppings itch into the paint work.

 

Once u see the bird droppings u must clean it ASAP and seems this is the

only way

I find Zaino products amore more ex and hard to get..thus had changed to Klass..

Ordered liao yet to try..waiting for my 3 coats of Zaino to wear off first..hahaha..

Brother,

 

U can follow this:

 

wash => clay => AIO (2 times no waiting time in between) => KSG (as many

as layers that u wait but with 12 hours apart for each layer).

 

The reason to do AIO 2 times is to make sure take out all the layer

of Zaino.

i cant bare to rub off the zaino leh..cos i did it 3 weeks back...now still protecting the car...cost me $150 for 3 coats...
