Typhoonz 4th Gear April 18, 2008 Share April 18, 2008 This is for the members of SJP (Support Jaybee Petrol)... Ever since I started my Jaybee petrol runs about 3 months ago, I've noticed some characters rocking their cars? What is it for and does it work? ↡ Advertisement
Shull Turbocharged April 18, 2008 Share April 18, 2008 they say can get rid of trapped air in the fuel tank..but i dont see any way the trapped air can escape by just rocking the car leh..
Typhoonz 4th Gear April 18, 2008 Author Share April 18, 2008 But I'm sure now cars are built differently right? Maybe it's just psychological?
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear April 18, 2008 Share April 18, 2008 Have seen some even rocking their rear boot Seems like sort of letting the petrol to settle down and then can pump more I remember seeing 1 pic over here long while back whereby 1 white color Jazz/Fit even use a jack to tilt his ride to one side so as to pump more
Shull Turbocharged April 18, 2008 Share April 18, 2008 (edited) personally, i still dont feel safe in JB, even if the whole petrol station is SG cars..so my stand is..the less time i spent outside my car, the better..so i chop chop go in, pump full to the brim, pay up..and come out.. where got time to shake car, use jack ah etc etc.. Mzrmazda3 6th Gear April 18, 2008 Share April 18, 2008 (edited) Singapo Nan's mentality is 'Cheap stuffs are the more the merrier' Edited April 18, 2008 by Mzrmazda3
Ivan96935sg Neutral Newbie April 18, 2008 Share April 18, 2008 They rock the car so much so that the wear rate of the suspension costs more than the savings of the petrol......where got meaning........
Tjkbeluga 5th Gear April 18, 2008 Share April 18, 2008 Yea, pat pat pat the boot of the car until you hear a burp then only start filling the gas... But seriously, if only we are allowed to mod the car to have a bigger gas tank would be best. Imagine 100 litre tank, 3/4 also, sng chao abit also can go jaybee fill up 30 to 40 litres of petrol.... sigh... just my wishful thinking...
Shull Turbocharged April 18, 2008 Share April 18, 2008 i usually pump at shell.. Caltex IMO has the highest risk, because majority of SG cars pump there..and the station i built such that you're quite far from the next pump..
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear April 18, 2008 Share April 18, 2008 That is also what i told my Bro In Law In the end, he gonna change all his 4 shocks to KYB Really don't understand their mentality
