Msia toll by card only

Was mentioned in the papers that they wil sell at abt RM2.90/lit. [thumbsup]

Another method is RON 95 wil b subsidized but RON99 will not. This way the cheap petrol is sold to average joe but the high octane wil have to b bought by those with big & powerful cars.

Note: Now MY only has RON 92 & 97. If they decide on 2nd option, they wil have to change the RON sold at their pumps, but that is not a real problem.

Usually there will be a booth to top up at any of the toll checkpoints. Just top up there loh.

Already been doing that. Some R&R along NSHW also have top up service too. It will be good to know specifically where to do so at any of those JB petrol stations.

Turbocharged

RM2.90/lit at current exchange rate translate to about S$1.20/lit..

still alot cheaper than SG..

So currently my 3/4 tank can squeeze 22L..

at current cost: 22L x RM1.92 = RM42.24 = S$18.35

without subsidy: 22L x RM2.90 = RM63.80 = S$27.73

In Singapore: 22L x S$2.1 = S$46.00

still support JB petrol..

I think an easier approach would be for them to sell only premium grade petrol which are either not subsidized or slightly subsidized to foreign cars.

hmm, not sure if the papers are correct because I saw it in the big signboard that all petrols in malaysia is selling at RM 3+ without the govt help.

Gota feeling the papers is incorrect but its not an issue. The point is: Its still damn cheaper than Singapore petrol. haa

Tonight, being a Friday night, surely jam pack at causeway. If one wants to go in, better do so after 1am cos the jam is notorious between 5pm-1am during friday nights. Dont get yourselves in situations where motorbikes can stratch your car or other cars knock dents into your car. Not worth it.

yo man... [wave][wave] how are you doing ?

your new car can use RON 92 ?

i agree that to use TnG card is very convenient. especially during peak hours, long queue at paying toll by cash. usually TnG counters have shorter queue. [nod][thumbsup]

Ya I never go in tonight. Just waiting to clear SG immigration will take forever.

As can b expected, the retarded immigration dept wil b struggling with the same load that the JB immigration will clear in a flash.

Hi bro. U disappear for quite some time. Went for driving holiday? [sly]

My Optra needs RON 95. But still ok lah. Same as my Corona.

TnG I wil consider getting if going further up to maybe Cameron or such where I wil use the NSH. Otherwise I find it a bit troublesome to have to find a place to do the top-up. I wil still use cash for JB toll. Unless if use TnG got discount. [sly]

Those who went in on Friday night using CAuseway must be cursing. The jam is already so horrible and turned out got accident. At 1am, the jam is still soo terrible going into JB side at woodlands.

At Tuas, the jam "cleared" up at 12am on Friday. Before MSK, the jam will be cleared up during friday nights at 9pm.

I went in last night... (more like this morning 1 am) and I saw the entire parking area opposite the immigration office was full of Sgp cars & the office was jam packed with people. There were also some cars with hazard lights on parked at the side since there was insufficient parking. I wonder if these were all caught for having less than the 3/4 tank of fuel??? [sweatdrop]

But when I was going through, there wasn't any checking for the fuel level..... [rolleyes]
