I was driving down BKE towards town. One black murano was aggressively following close to my back. Bros who were driving today 14 April along BKE will know that there was a heavy jam. All vehicles were moving at snail's pace.

 

But this murano was aggressively following my back. When I gently braked at one moment, he jammed his brakes cos he was too close. His car even shook when he jammed his brakes.... I was so put off and lowered my window to signal him to slow down.

 

Right after that, I filtered out. The encounter was too close for comfort. If he didn't jam his brakes on time, my car and the other cars would ve appeared on the headlines with the words "chain collision".

 

If the Murano driver is reading this, please be considerate. The traffic already so heavy. You tail gate and follow aggressively and leave little space between you and the cars in front. No matter how close you are to the car in front, you are only closer to accident. You don't save more time by following more closely.

 

For the other bros, be more careful of such tail gaters too.

I know how you feel. Same thing happened to me on PIE yesterday evening in the direction of Changi Airport. Some idiot driving an Opel was tailgating me all the way from BKE entrance to PIE (satellite station) to TPY. Tailgate for what? There was a jam plus moderate rain. I cannot go any faster even if he tailgate.

Not surprising as the rainy season has been on since the beginning of the year.

 

I spend at least 1.5hr on the road each day and i can safely say that 9/10 times there is rain, within 5 minutes, an accident will occur on any given expressway.

damn...every morning I had to suffer the long jams at BKE, after the dairy farms entrance...it's will jams all the way to exit PIE towards Changi...but what to do...has to stay cool at all times...

u should gently press your brakes just enough for only the brake light to activate, to serve as a warning. Trust me, when u do that, he will immediately start to keep a distance (...and cursing at you at the same time ).

OK lar, i pass by that stretch every morning also. U can clear stretch of heavy traffic within 15 mins, so not so bad.

i seen a moanrhino crash into a mercs sedan's right hand side near suntec before

merc's rear RHS door severe dent

 

later both party tried to move their vehicle to the side to tan pan

 

but moanrhino got problems moving, i think engine got problem alreadi

Didn't want to do that - might piss him off. Just drove normally along with the flow of traffic and braked normally when traffic slowed down. Basically just ignored him. Nothing he could do anyway since all lanes were jammed up. The only thing he could do, if he wanted, was to ram my car from behind.

 

Idiot also caused cars in Lane 2 to jam brake because he wanted to filter out to the Thomson Rd exit. But he started filtering at the last miunte from Lane 1 only at CJC area, all the way across 4 lanes to get out to Thomson Road.

what i do sometimes i tap on the brakes with my LEFT foot. keep the accelerator pressed. the moment i let go accelerator, the car will slow down. i just want to warn the tailgater behind me to ease off, without forcing him to slow down further.

I can't control my left foot properly when using it to break. I tend to jam brake if i use my left foot

the onli time, i got bothered was when there was a super big low lee zooming behind me

 

balls shrink, i switch lane to let him go first

 

then i follow him (he open road for me )
