Coltagious Neutral Newbie April 12, 2008 Share April 12, 2008 Just had a chance to do this Chery A5 through a fren's recommendation. Being a china made car, there was sceptism on how the condition of the paintwork would be. After the usual wash and clay, the car was checked with my halogen lamp and i was pleasantly surprised that the car was quite well prepped by the dealer and that there were only a few areas which required machine attention. The only let down was a small portion of the front bumper which had an area which the machine could not reach that does not look good. Here's the steps: 1) Wash and clay 2) PC with 4" spot buff pads on problem areas with IP, Rest of the car PC with White pad and Mixture of PO106FF and Sonus Paintwork Cleanser 3) Application of Ultima Paint Guard Plus 4) Interior n Tire Shine ↡ Advertisement

Coltagious Neutral Newbie April 13, 2008 Author Share April 13, 2008 the orange peel effect is not so apparent on most panels, i would rate it very near to the quality of most jap and conti. However, there are significant quality issues at some corners and edges which would go unnoticed if you dun look carefully. The only place which the orange peels shows up more is the boot area if you look at the last pic's reflection of the flats.
