Do u think Nissan's family cars are getting uglier and uglier? Whats their designer doing? yah, subjective, but i think its not getting good here. what say u?

1. That is a yes, if you're talking about bread and butter family sedan. Nissan's higher-end cars are actually not bad looking. Considering they've the lasting look of 1990 RB and the latest GTR.

2. IMHO, Nissan is very cautious in designing the bread and butter cars, they want a look that will appeal to those who wants comfort(hence a taller car) and may be a bit of "style" (subjective). Afterall, if bread and butter cars don't sell how to sustain in the competitive world of car selling?

Regards,

I just think that Nissan has lost its spirit in their design. I always like the Fairladies of the yesteryears.

300ZX one of my fav.

March - cute

Lation sedan - OMG

Lation HB - not bad

Sylphy - looks ok after a very long while looking at it

Cefiro - thumbsdown.gif

Murano - thumbsup.gif

Maybe their car designer is freelance from porsche (who obviously doesn't need to design too much)? smile.gif

i feel that almost all the older design is many times nicer than the newer ones. ever since renault put a hand in Nissan, IT's THE END.

Turbocharged
This is quite ah pek to me and look worse than the present N16

There are two camps for presea.

Either you love it very much or you hate the design to its core.

There are no in-betweens.

hav to agree ur point.... [laugh][laugh]

lafesta... [laugh][laugh]

Lafesta is the mother of all fugly car... [sweatdrop] Looks like a coffin carrier.. [pirate]

I'm surprised that Nissan can design that but I'm more surprised people buy it [shocked]

Anyway, ah-nor-nairs are born engineers, not stylish designers.. They will insist that good engineering supercedes style. Since they are culturally loyal employees and respect age-superiority, I believe their lead designers won't be young punks in 20s/30s...

In short, it is square minded ah-nor-nair ah-pek engineers who may have designed these weired Nissan cars... [laugh]
