Now I'm very tempted to get the T610 [sly]

At least more tactical than a regular digicam... can look at the phone pretend to be SMS-sing.. while actually snapping a pic [bounce2][bounce2]

How's the lag? I hope they've improved it since the T68/68i which i'm using

actually, i still prefer my previous T68i than my current t610 in terms of the navigation of the menu (but agree that in terms of lag, t610 is better).. sweatdrop.gif

think needs getting used to.. smile.gif

Still slower than it's peers from Nokia etc I guess? Especially SMS?

How would you rate the pic quality compared with say the NK 7250?

Basically, Nokia is a handphone company. So their software should be much faster. In terms of graphics LCD, sony and samsung are big players. As for the pic quality, I think I trust a Sony digicam to a digicam from a handphone company. I know the T610 has better LCD display than the nokia.

I think it's a matter of getting used to..

not sure about pic quality vs. 7250, but i advise against it if you are the type who will take pictures and like to share with other people via IR.. the 7250 can IR the pictures taken shakehead.gifshakehead.gif .. you can only share by sending it as MMS.. someone did say to me before it's more of a phone to boost usage of MMS.. $$$ in another word.

and i think the screen is 4k colours? not sure..

Yeah 4k colours vs the SE's 65k colours..

But my friend says no noticeable difference. Btw which service provider are you on? I'm on M1.. thinking of upgrading and junking the t68 before it breaks down on my.. warranty already over.

4k vs. 65k no diff? hmm.. I moved from 256 to 65k, so lotsa difference!! laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif

am with M1.. I got a good deal switching to t610 from 68i coz I have been out of contract with them for awhile.. M1 kept sending me letters for special promotions on phones (not published).

Any case, SE phones' value drop faster, so can wait, then wait... sweatdrop.gif .. I got mine at $238 after trade-in whereas my colleague got his when they launched (just 2 months ago?) at $500 plus.. go figure.. wink.gif

Ahh thanks for the lead.. let me go check it out. But the ready credit subscription can't be free so have to add on $60 to the cost. Hmm how many times have I cancelled my RC membership leow? [rolleyes][rolleyes]

not sure wat u mean by 'lag' but the t610 is pretty good tho it takes some getting used to if one has been a nokia user. was considering the 7250 too but the paltry 4k colour is [thumbsdown] and feels very plasticky.

difficult to pretend to sms & take foto unless u hold the fone vertically (which is kinda unnatural, rite?). another downside is the lack of zoom. by the time u r near enuf to the subject, it's obvious u r taking a pix. but doesn't bother me coz i'm using it for [angel] reasons. [laugh][laugh]

the v200 shld be able to overcome most of these shortcomings but cost$$ double. [sweatdrop]
