Did a search and did not find much reviews between this 2. Was wondering any gurus can give me a short review? I have checked the cost for this 2 tires for size 225/45/17.

FK 452 : $200 per pc

RE001 : $225 per pc

Of cos RE001 will be of better choice. So far still very happy with my RE001 on both dry & wet, especially the stiffness of the side wall is which I love most. Now already think whether I will change a 2nd set after current set wear out and the answer is YES. [thumbsup]

RE001 will be a better choice. don't take FK452 heard alot of bad reviews about falken tyres. but then again some will support falken. however many more should support potenza's.

u might wanna consider goodyear eagleF1 or toyo T1R. these 2 i know quite popular and price most probably cheaper that potenza.

I also got mine from the 1st batch from them. So SOH Brother still selling at $180 for that size? [thumbsup] I thought they have already raise their price by now.

Auditioned one set on my fren's ride. Super quiet! [thumbsup]

Was doing some research on the net and found this -

RE001 - Dry : 8.5/10, Wet : 7.5/10

FK452 - Dry : 7.5/10, Wet : 8/10

In terms of noise level, certainly RE001 beats FK hands down. Also read that FK has quite a soft sidewall..

Soh Brothers selling $180 per tyre for 215/45/17 (RE001)

Although they're good at their price but if I were to change again I wont go back to them. Reason is their worker not that skillful, change 4 rims and 4 rims ganna scratches. Such workmanship is very unacceptable and lucky they only scratched my last time TW rim but not my current rim ....... else will give them a good time. [sly]

For your size I did ask before yesterday, slightly above $200.

Sin Ming Autocare, #03-20. Look for one old man Mr Ong.

(Every floor only got 1 lift landing area, his shop directly besides the lift landing)

Currently on RE001 18s. Nice stiff sidewalls, rather accurate. Good steering feel for normal everyday driving.

Very hard compound, wear rate seems to take forever to wear it down.

Very decent in the wet. did 80 over a big pool of water in the rain, it was noisy as water waws being dispersed. but car was stable and traction control light didn't have to kick in.

It does slide on very hard cornering, but it is quiet, no screeching. Slides progressively, doesn't breakaway.

Slightly noisy after 24 laps at sepang with track temp in the mid 40s. won't suggest it as a track tire as grip starts to give once track temp gets too hot. Wear rate. treads are still looking like they are good for another 30k of driving.

Very nice set of tires for long life, slightly spirited driving, accurate feel and direction change.

I prefer RS2, ADO7 for way better dry grip. have to sacrifice noise though. I find AD07s more comfortable. S1Evo for a slightly better grip and comfort, but shorter life span and starts to lose grippiness after 15k.

Didn't try the Falkens but these are some of the comparisons I have given what I have used recently
