Mzrmazda3 6th Gear April 4, 2008 Share April 4, 2008 (edited) This post is to highlight to those needy persons that there is such a temple/organisation in our heartland that provides a decent vegetarian meal 24 hours round the clock for all races & religion Saw this from Channel 8 news last night Edited April 4, 2008 by Mzrmazda3 ↡ Advertisement

Nkps 1st Gear April 4, 2008 Share April 4, 2008 there is a time when they do not want to receive anymore food.... they want the $$$.... but still, people flood the temple with rice, cooking oil and such
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear April 4, 2008 Author Share April 4, 2008 Is it??? But at least they are as to provide free meal considering the 'Han Cheng' in Singapore whereby lower class people are being quite jialat due to the inflation
Nkps 1st Gear April 4, 2008 Share April 4, 2008 yeah, i used to go with my sis to flood them with cooking oil and rice.... that was 2 yrs back.... they said they got to much food already.... they needed $$$... is easier for them to organise.... but saw the news last night now they will accept food again, that's good

Kxbc Turbocharged April 4, 2008 Share April 4, 2008 I also dunno where it is located But jus post to let others know that at least there is such a temple/organisation that is to provide free meal 24 hours round the clock If I am not wrong, it's located at a side street just off River Valley Road, opp the AAS. It's not visible from the main road. I used to tag along there with the elders. It was very run down. Now they have re-built. Much better. But parking is a problem for those intending to park there. Maybe park at AAS and cross the street easier.
Rncw 5th Gear April 4, 2008 Share April 4, 2008 it's near river valley, the small rd leading to the temple is opposite AAS (automobile assoc sg). i go there every year for praying of my ancestors. I also dunno where it is located But jus post to let others know that at least there is such a temple/organisation that is to provide free meal 24 hours round the clock

Slowmo Clutched April 4, 2008 Share April 4, 2008 not really pointless but it reaching out to those greedy miser folks in prime area more than the real needee... anyway, i m not complaining.... they are doing good for the community well, i suppose probably is to help redeem the greedy souls encouraging them to turn vegetarian when the rich ones actually turn up for freebies.... i really think they should send food to old folks homes... or at least invite them to the place... no need 24 hours also.
