wah!!! 3 hours engine still ok ar?

 

that time my car's radiator explode i didnt realised. from geylang i drove to eunos only my gasket went up the lorry liao. den went for top overhaul also!

 

to tell whether or not spc good. u muz try higher end oils. den u might spot the difference.

oil level drop? how old is your car and wat is the weight of the oil?

anyw some oils are known to consume at a higher rate...so tats y need to check regularly n top up where nec...

act my orig post was for giving carl*be a cos it served me well all the way to 10k..

I remember that some trackies used to use Yacco, good oil. Supposedly proven to maintain lower peak oil temps on track compared to all the other branded engine oils out there...

If you are not racing, 5W30 goes well with any new modern engine.

Are all 5w30 oil the same? Have been using SHU but thinking of changeing to carl*be 5e30 oil for a change.

I've also just recently blown my radiator. Kept adding water to tahan till I got to the workshop.

My friend have M1 5W50 oil but date of produce is jan 2006. can I buy from him and use.What is the self life.

Synthetics are better but for a car that is hardly pushed through it's paces, it wouldn't matter what brand.
