Leepee 1st Gear April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 I need a IR remote control repeater. I have only one SVC box in my living room. I have cabled extra line to my bedroom TV. I can't control the SVC box from my bedroom. Please don't ask me to place mirrors to reflect/bounce the IR signals till it reach the SVC box, or ask me to get an extra SVC box, or watch tv in living room, or move the scv box bedroom. What I want is "Where to get a remote control IR repeater in Singapore". Those who knows can recommend please. Thanks. ↡ Advertisement

User12343 Clutched April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 in the first place is it legal to parallel the scv output to multiple TV? you need something like radio frequency remote controller, much like those bose lifestyle home theather where the remote works thru walls. but wont be cheap compared to adding extra scv setop box. User12343 Clutched April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 (edited) nopez, one setop box only tied to one TV. even if u parallel out the decoded coax signal only the same channel will be displayed. think about your simple fm laydio at home. can u tune to listen 90.5 on ur living room and class 95 on ur bedroom? if u want different channels, then u get another setop box. Leepee 1st Gear April 3, 2008 Author Share April 3, 2008 Yes this is the type of product I need. But Where can I get it in SINGAPORE? Ordering it online may takes one week and maybe more expensive. Any local address? I went SLTower, they only sell the bare kit form. Maybe I will try SLS today. How about Adelphi?
