well, maybe i want to feel how a jappy V6 feels.

haha, a jappy v6 .....hmm.....go and test drive the cefiro 2.3 V6 la ! easiest

or if u very keen, go try the IS250...it's the same engine as the mark x but detuned, so 10bhp less but it can take 95 octane petrol. The lexus engineers came by to reconfigure the engine for our Singapore roads.

Mark X is Japanese domestic model car so must take 98 octane... no 95 !

so far lexus IS250 on 95 octane is great ! no change in FC or power ! and save $ [thumbsup]

Neutral Newbie

I had a great day test driving the z4 2.5 roadster and the z4 3.0 coupe yesterday. First went to PML alexandra to take the z4 2.5 to PML Dunearn to switch over to Z4 3.0. Wow, the power of the 3.0 is amazing, i even tried to chase an Audi R8 from lornie to adam road. Went all the way to 150km/h, the SE just smile like no big deal. He even asked me to drive into some ulu twisted road where there's monekeys at the roadside off Dunearn to try the cornering. The last part of the test drive is to take the 2.5 with the top down back from Dunearn to Alexandra. Total time spend with the Z4s abt 1hr and 15 mins. That's what i call a real test drive and i wasn't even pushed into a deal after that was just asked to take my time to consider.

There's a different between responsible testdriver and non-responsible ones..

when you test a car for the first time, understand it. Whack it only when you can handle it.

Some just pedal to metal the moment it hit the main road [sweatdrop]

I beg to differ.

Cef V6 is wasted on the CVT gearbox. So you wont get a good feel how a V6 performs.

As much as I hate the T brand, i must admit X is a good car and very powerful, even stock to stock. As much my LGT can chiong, i must admit there are some Xs that gave me a nasty surprise sometimes.

If you are a small build person with small build frens and family, X is really the car to go for.

Too bad it doesn have handbrake .... else can even drift

sorry off topic, it's about 10.6-10.7km/L [:p]

didn't know cefiro was CVT gearbox.... [shakehead] i HATE CVT gearboxes......

hmm...another good V6 to try would be the Toyota Crown or the new Honda Accord 3.5L

i believe the Honda accord 3.5 would be a blast ! [thumbsup]

Can this car last 10 years ?

I see a number of resale Mark-X on the market. I assume back then it cost abt 110k bah.

For a 2-3 year Mark-X selling at sub 70-80k, worth to get ?

As compare to a brand new one abt 100k.
